Geoffrey Douglas has spent more than two decades building and leading the technology teams that run e-commerce. As VP of Engineering and Director of Software Engineering at companies managing complex platforms and multi-million-dollar delivery operations, he's been the person responsible for results — not the person who sold them.
He holds two AWS certifications at the Professional level — Solutions Architect Professional and DevOps Engineer Professional, the highest tier AWS awards in each track — alongside three additional AWS Associate certifications and two Magento Professional Developer certifications. He completed his MBA in 2025, adding formal business grounding to two decades of operational experience.
Never Behind is what happens when you take that background and point it at a problem most businesses don't know they have yet: AI search visibility. He ran the audit on his own company first. The score was 0 out of 80. That result is public, and it's right on the homepage.
Company
The "Never Behind" name goes back to 2004.
Geoffrey started Never Behind Business Solutions in October 2004, helping small and midsize businesses keep up with technology changes that were moving faster than most owners had time to track. Same problem. Different technology.
Over the next decade that practice grew into deeper engagements — bigger platforms, larger teams, the full career arc of technical leadership. Today, Never Behind operates as the AI Visibility service line of Business Geeks, Inc., the entity Geoffrey founded in 2017.
AI search is the current technology shift, and it's a genuine one. Buyers now ask ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity who to hire before they ever open Google. Most small businesses have no idea whether AI names them — or a competitor. Never Behind exists to close that gap: measure the posture, map the fixes, and give businesses a clear roadmap they can actually act on.
We don't manage your website. We don't run your social media. An audit is a one-time purchase — no subscriptions, no retainers, no lock-in, and it does not put our team on retainer or grant ongoing access. You get a prioritized roadmap: yours to execute, yours to own.

We can't guarantee AI will cite you
No one can — including the engines themselves. AI systems update independently, on schedules outside anyone's control. Our job is to improve your posture and your roadmap, not to promise an outcome we don't control.
We can't guarantee rankings or revenue
AI citation is not a ranking algorithm. There's no position 1 to buy. We don't know your business well enough to project what AI visibility changes will mean for your revenue — and anyone who claims to is making up a number.
We can't promise a timeline
AI systems re-train on their own schedules. Some fixes show up in days; others take weeks or months to propagate. We'll tell you what the variables are — not invent a delivery date that isn't ours to set.
The audit tells you where you stand and what to do about it. What happens after that is real work — and real work doesn't come with a guarantee. That's not a hedge; it's just true.
